Domain Newspaper Stories Part 2

Last week at the Cathedral Domain Reading Camp campers in the writing center interviewed teachers, support staff members, counselors, and each other for a newspaper published at the end of Reading Camp. This entry is the second of five entries of the "Reading Rocks at the Domain" Reading Camp newspaper.

What the Counselors Think

Allissa Fergusonisn’t relly a teacher or a counselor. She is on support staff for the Domain Reading Camp. She lives in Lexington Kentucky and her job is going to school at UK. She wants a job as a teacher and she has lots of friends.
Brittney Vogel likes to dance and sing. She thinks she wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She was born on March 30, 1991 and is 17 years old. She don’t like sports but likes to read and go swimming.

More of the Counselors Tell All
Allison interviewed Callie Snowden. Callie attends Sayre School in Lexington and lives in Winchester, Kentucky. Her most favorite things to do are swimming and talking. Callie says she loves clowns.

Hannah Peterson, who was interviewed by Bray, loves reading and talking to her friends. Her favorite things at Reading Camp are archery and repelling. She also likes hiking and going into the bat cave.
Nea interviewed Liz Pryor, who lives in Lexington and was born in Kentucky in 1992 on September 27th. She is a student. Her favorite colors are yellow and green. She likes being a counselor. In her spare time, she plays sports.

Dwight Vires is a counselor at Reading Camp. His favorite animal is his dog Lightning, who is a Chihuahua. He is 18 years old and his favorite ice cream is chocolate.
Allissa Ferguson is from Tennessee. Her job is going to school at UK and her favorite things at Reading Camp are the songs and the campfire. Her favorite animal is a giraffe. Alissa is going to go to New York City after reading Camp. Her favorite sport is riding a bicycle.
Tyne Grigsby lives in Hazard and goes to Perry County High School. Her hobby is collecting clowns. Tyne is also a counselor at other Reading Camps in Kentucky. Tyne said she was really sorry that she had to leave us before camp was over. She left lots of us speshul notes.
Alex Parker is the counselor for St. John’s cabin. He says St. John’s is the very best of all the camp and it is true. His campers don’t just lie there. They go outside to party and play with the kids in the cabin on the wright.

On Wednesday, I interviewed Josh Reynolds, one of the counselors. I asked him if he liked animals and he said yes. He has two dogs. I asked he do you like snakes. He said no. I ask Josh likes cars. His favorite car is a purple Hummer.
