Happy Valentine's Day from Reading Camp
Will you be my Valentine?
We all think of our significant others and loved ones on Valentine's Day.
Will you share your love of children, reading, and books on Valentine's Day with a Reading Camper? A twenty-five dollar ($25) donation will supply take home books for a Reading Camper this summer. Coming home from camp with their own library enables the campers to build on the skills they learn at Reading Camp.
Encouraging childrens' love of reading opens their world and their imagination.
Many studies show long-term academic success can be predicted by the number of books found in the child's home. Most of our campers do not grow up with books at their fingertips; something most of us take for granted.
Recruitment begins this month for 3rd and 4th graders to attend six different Reading Camps beginning in June. Your donation-online through Facebook Causes or Paypal or by mail at the address below-will provide books to kids identified by their teachers and principals as being most in need of reading assistance.
